Bianca Bockman has nearly 20 years of experience across a broad range of environmental, human rights, and social justice work, including 8 years of hands-on experience in urban agriculture and food justice. Bianca directs the Communities for Healthy Food Bed-Stuy Initiative at NEBHDCo – a holistic food justice project which includes cooking classes, cooperative business training and development, urban farming, retail work, youth programs, and more. Ultimately, Bianca wants to build an ecological, democratic, and racially just society and thinks food is a great way to get there.
